What’s on offer?
YCS Computers works with companies, schools, colleges, universities and public sector organisations in Leeds to help them safely and responsibly dispose of IT equipment which has reached the end of its life.
Organisations can choose to either drop off their unwanted items free of charge, or pay to have items collected. Households/individuals can also drop off their unwanted items for free recycling between 10am and 5pm (Monday-Friday).
Items including PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, photocopiers, projectors and mobile phones are refurbished before being donated to local charities or sold on at charity prices to cover some of the organisation’s running costs.
All data from machines is professionally removed – including wiping of hard-drives using specialist software. Customers are supplied with a ‘certificate of destruction’ listing all data carrying devices on the computer which have been wiped.
Ycs Computers has established itself as the preferred partner for recycling IT equipment from schools, colleges and households in Leeds.
Ycs Computers also offers a computer repairs service including data recovery and laptop bios passwords removal.

YCS Computers is WEEE certified which means it is registered with the Environment Agency for all its computer recycling. A copy of its WEEE certificate is provided to all customers.
